WHAT DO YOU COLLECT?
     
 Star Trek, Star Wars, Superman, BTAS villains, Fantastic Four, Iron Man 
 
WHEN DID YOU START COLLECTING AND WHY?
     
 The serious collecting started in late 1990 when I began buying the Galoob Star Trek: The Next Generation figures (on clearance almost everywhere at that point). I thought it would be fun to have them. This led to buying the various Toy Biz superhero figures that came as a result of the first Batman movie simply because I wanted to have some superhero figures (missed out on Super Powers). The tide just swept me away and I've been a figure junkie since. 
 
HOW HARD IS IT TO FIND THE TOYS YOU WANT?
     
 It used to be nearly impossible to find stuff here. I've noticed recently that the allure of figures=profit for the small timers has waned a bit. Either that or I've been incredibly lucky lately. From time to time, I've used rtaf to trade with other folks in an effort to lessen the wear and tear on my wallet. 
 
WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS ON SCALPING?

HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT FROM A SCALPER?
WOULD YOU?
     
 Scalping to me is no different than the complete jerks who gouge baby formula, food, and water after natural disasters. It's unfortunate that the hobby I had so much fun with has turned into a dog-eat-dog mentality. Even more unfortunate is the fact that I have bought from scalpers before I learned the art of patience. Anytime I feel like caving, I take a look at the Lando Calrissian figure that was bought for $15 and realize what a dope I was. There won't be anymore buying from scalpers on my part. 
 
WHAT ARE YOUR OTHER HOBBIES/INTERESTS?
     
 I absolutely love television, especially science-fiction like Trek, Babylon 5, and seaQuest. I also enjoy reading, watching films, playing baseball, fiddling with the computer. 
 
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE?
     
 I've been lurking since late 1993 (when it was just rec.toys.misc) and have met some great people along the way. Thanks to everyone who has attempted to keep the hobby what it was intended to be: fun. We'll beat those scalpers yet!
